This I must say is one of the most impressive things I have in my collection. Here is a Japanese WW2 Kai-gunto and Dirk, including the paperwork of it being handed over by the Japanese at the end of WW2. They are both in near mint condition bar a few scratches on the kai-gunto scabbard, and a minor chip at the end of the blade. What makes this specific sword so rare is the paperwork. I personally have not taken the handle off to reveal the maker and date, because I do not wish to damage it. It also includes the original textile cover.
