Heavy worn M35 Luftwaffe steel helmet. Helmet started as a double decal example. Per 1940 regulations the tri-color shield had to be removed, but still faintly visible. The Luftwaffe eagle decal, has been totaly removed. Complete with original liner. Reinforced aluminum liner band is dated 1940, And maker marked. The leather itself remains supple and strong. The helmet has been reused post war and the strap is a post war example. Unfortunately there are no split pins holding the liner, as someone has tried to remove the liner. Shell markings Q64, lot number 3225. Unfortunately there have been 2 little holes drilled into one side which are visible in the pictures. But all round still A beautiful helmet!
